Easter fun

Happy Easter everyone! Not only did we spend the morning at church celebrating our Lord's resurrection, we also celebrated with family. We had a lovely afternoon at my grandparents' house with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Here are some pictures of Bailey and Blair all dressed up in their first Easter dresses. They really played well together, especially when they were terrorizing the poor dog, Maggie. hehe

Highlights of the month

I played horsey with Daddy for hours. He loves it and never gets tired. Faster Daddy faster!

I found a crown in a box of clothes that was given to me and I loved being a princess.

I got my very own laptop to work on like Mommy and Daddy. I do my best work in the nude.

I pooped on the potty...well actually I started pooping on the rug during naked time and Daddy rushed me to the potty to finish. I don't know why he was so upset.

I ate a brownie while Mommy and Daddy weren't looking. One of the teenagers at church gave it to me. They found the evidence on my lip. Can you see it?

Typical Friday night

You know you're a parent when....
on Friday night you look forward to taking your baby swimming at the local community college. haha
Almost every Friday night we take Bailey swimming and she loves it. Last night she floated on her back and also let Ken dunk her. It's a goal of Daddy's that she learn to swim at an early age. So far she's right on track. We have quite a water baby on our hands. Here are two videos from last week. Every week she gets a little better than the week before.

Uncle Casey visits

My brother and his girlfriend visited over the weekend for his birthday. We had a great time with them and Bailey was just smitten with Uncle Casey. She doesn't really like it when people pursue her or want to hold her, but she just kept doing things to get his attention. It was so cute. I hope Uncle Casey realized how much his niece loved him. It just melted my heart.

A day at the park

My mom and I took Bailey to the park the other day. It was a bit windy but gorgeous otherwise, so I thought it would be a good day for a picnic. We tested out the bucket swings and she LOVED it! She laughed so hard and caught the attention of every kid and mom there. Then we enjoyed our sandwiches while Bailey snacked on carrot chunks. It was a very fun afternoon and we can't wait to go again when Daddy can be there.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been BUSY!!!! Mommy and Daddy have been getting me out and doing some exciting stuff since the weather has been warm. Here are just a few things I've been up to since you saw me last.

I learned to use my sippy cup all by myself.

I went on long walks in the stroller with mommy.

I helped mommy hang the laundry outside to dry.

I played a lot with Pujols. He loves when I pull his hair and ears and try to bite him.

I went swimming with my daddy in the biggest tub I had ever seen.

And I went to the zoo with my cousin and saw a lot of cool animals. The monkeys were my favorite.


So that's about it. Pretty cool huh? Yup, I lead an exciting life. I'll keep you updated on other fun things really soon. Bye bye.
