I've had people ask before what we do with all of our crafts that Bailey and I make. Ignore the terrible picture, but this is what we do with them. :) We had an empty wall in our porch/playroom and I wanted to put up some wall decor. I also needed a place to put all of B's artwork and I thought, hey why not kill two birds with one stone and use the art work as decor for the room. It is simply four pieces of twine I hung on the wall with nails. Then each craft is pinned up using a clothespin. Easy peasy and cheap! I love a good inexpensive solution. Well actually it was free because I had the twine, nails, and clothespins lying around the house. My favorite crafts get hung up on display for a long while. The not so great ones get hung up for a few days, then go in the trash. Sshhh...don't tell Bailey. The totally awesome ones, when I retire them from the wall with newer in season creations, get put in a tote for storage. The rest I take a pictures of so I will have the memory but toss it in the recycling if it's made of recyclable materials. Hope this inspires you to dedicate a place in your house to show off your child's creativity. Bailey loves it and takes such pride in showing new visitors all of her projects. Happy crafting!
