Handprint keepsake project

My daughter adores doing art projects and begs me to do them almost daily. I plan to show you more of these in the future, but here is one of my favorites and was actually a spur of the moment craft. She wanted to make a flower and I have a love for handprint/footprint crafts so it was a natural fit that we would make a flower out of handprints.

The flower petals were handprints minus the thumb. I had her glue on the stem and leaves. Then I put gobs of glue in the middle and let her use the colorful beads to make the center of the flower. After we did the flower, I thought we were finished but she was just getting started. She wanted to paint her foot, so we turned it into a caterpillar. Was that enough for her? No way! Then she wanted to make a bee so we turned her thumbprint into a tiny little bee hanging out by the flower. I think it turned out pretty cute!
